ADC was started by a local Delawarean, Josh Weldin. His family has been in the trades for generations; his grandfather was an electrician, his uncle was also an electrician. Josh however started in landscaping at 14 and then into roofing and framing. Shortly after working alongside skilled carpenters doing custom remodels in downtown Rehoboth, Josh started to manage crews and production work in roofing. His passion for building was not satisfied staying on the exterior. Through effort and good fortune he started to work for a local builder. Working under a superintendent with almost 40 years in the industry, Josh learned homebuilding in the field for many years. Once the old superintendent retired, Josh took up the helm and finished the community as supervisor. At the age of 32, Josh has had the privilege of participating in over 100 settlements in residential construction. Even while working for this builder, Josh's desire to create and build was so strong that he routinely would take on and build separate projects outside of the community. Now with a strong work ethic, years of experience, qualified staff, and a desire to build quality products, Josh is ready to bring ADC to the communities of Southern Delaware.
